What should we pay attention to when using cnc cutting machine?

The cutting machine of Mechatronics is called cnc cutting machine, such as CNC plasma cutting machine and CNC flame cutting machine. They drive the machine tool to move by digital program. When the machine tool moves, the cutting tool equipped randomly cuts the object. This paper mainly introduces what should we pay attention to when using cnc cutting machine.

1.        Prevent cnc cutting machine from electric shock

(1)     Please do not touch any electrical components in the electrical cabinet and the operation console when the power is on or the cnc cutting machine is running. Otherwise, electric shock will occur.

(2)     Please do not operate any switch knob with wet hands to prevent electric shock.

(3)     Please do not check the line or replace the electrical components with electricity, otherwise you may get electric shock or injury.

(4)     The maintenance personnel with corresponding technical qualification can only repair the cnc cutting machine in strict accordance with the electrical maintenance technical requirements. In case of accident.

2.        Prevent cnc cutting machine from a fire

(1)     The working materials used in the cnc cutting machine are inflammable gases such as acetylene, propane, liquefied gas, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check whether the whole gas circuit is sealed in good condition.

(2)     The air source part of the cutter shall be far away from the open fire, and carbon dioxide or other corresponding fire extinguishing devices with normal performance shall be placed nearby.

(3)     Mechanical maintenance personnel should ensure that the cnc cutting machine is in a state of shutdown during maintenance.And hangs the warning board, in case the cnc cutting machine runs suddenly and produces the human accident.

(4)     When the cnc cutting machine is running for a long time, do not directly touch the heat sink and other heating devices on the module by hand to avoid burns.

3.        Prevent cnc cutting machine from damage

(1)     When the cnc cutting machine is running, pay attention to whether there are people or other objects in front of it to avoid collision.

(2)     After each cutting, the cutting torch of the cnc cutting machine shall be lifted to the highest place to avoid hitting the steel plate and damaging the cutting torch.

(3)     The mechanical maintenance personnel shall make sure that the cnc cutting machine is stopped during maintenance. Warning signs shall be hung to avoid accidents caused by sudden operation of the machine.

(4)     When the  cnc cutting machine is running for a long time, do not touch the heat sink and other heating devices on the module directly by hand to avoid scalding.

4.        Operation precautions of cnc cutting machine

(1)     Before starting the cnc cutting machine , check whether there is air leakage in the pipeline of the cnc cutting machine . If there is air leakage, never start the cnc cutting machine .

(2)     Check whether there is any obstacle on the working face and guide rail after starting the cnc cutting machine . If there is any obstacle, it must be removed.

(3)     The operator shall not leave the post at will, and the non operator shall not start the cnc cutting machine  at will.

(4)     In case of emergency during operation, press the red emergency stop switch immediately to prevent accidents.

(5)     When repairing and maintaining the numerical control system, special supervisor shall be responsible for command and coordination.

(6)     Before shut down, close all air valves and vent the remaining gas in the air circuit.

(7)     If there is tempering phenomenon in the pipeline, the power shall be cut off immediately. Record the failure of the cnc cutting machine.

(8)     If any fault is found, there shall be a fault record.

5.        Other precautions of cnc cutting machine

(1)     Before lifting and handling, the controller shall be removed and transported without excessive vibration.

(2)     The cnc cutting machine can prevent impact and collision during hoisting. And let the cutting torch run to the proper position of the rack to maintain balance.

(3)     The power connection and air circuit shall be arranged in strict accordance with the requirements of the drawings, and the appropriate length of the wire and air circuit shall be ensured.

(4)     If equipped with plasma power supply, it is required to connect electricity and gas in strict accordance with the cnc cutting machine of plasma power supply manufacturer.
